About the Russian Chemical Bulletin
The Russian Chemical Bulletin is the English edition of the Izvestiya Akademii Nauk,
Seriya Khimicheskaya, previously published as the Bulletin of the Sciences of the USSR.
Division of Chemical Science. The Russian Chemical Bulletin is a mounthly jornal
covering practically all areas of fundamental chemical research.
Publisher is a Kluwer Academic/Plenum Publisher.
Nearly 500 scientific manuscripts containing the results of original studies are
published annually as Full Papers, Brief Communications, and Letters to the Editor.
Additionally, every issue contains one or two review articles as well as information
concerning current affairs in the Russian Academy of Sciences, chemistry-related Research
Institutes and Centers, International Chemistry Conferences and Symposia held in Russia.
The main contributors to the Russian Chemical Bulletin are scientists from Research
Institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences and other Research Centers and Universities
of Russia. In addition, in recent seven years scientists from more than twenty countries
were among our authors.
High scientific standards of publications are ensured by strict
selection of papers based on double reviewing by independent referees and scientific
and literature editing of the Russian and English versions. Since the beginning of 1995,
the International Advisory Board has been established which consists of prominent
scientists from all over the world.
The journal was founded in 1936. English version is being published since 1951.
